Opening Date for Penguin Trek at SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando announce the grand opening of its highly anticipated new attraction, Penguin Trek, on 7 July 2024. A family launch coaster like no other, Penguin Trek is located within the all-new Antarctica Realm. This immersive area promises an adventure of a lifetime, combining thrilling rides, delectable dining, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Penguin Trek redefines the family coaster experience with its innovative design and exhilarating adventure. An experience for the whole family, the ride accommodates everyone from the young adventurer at 42-inches to the tall thrill-seeker up to 77-inches. Guests will beat the summer heat while waiting in the air-conditioned queue lines. Riders will board unique snowmobile-styled ride cars, embarking on a thrilling expedition through the vast and icy wilderness of Antarctica. With two powerful launches and speeds reaching up to 43 mph, the 3,020-foot track winds through both indoor and outdoor environments, presenting a series of twists, turns, and breathtaking moments. But the true highlight awaits at the end of the journey: upon disembarking the ride, guests will find themselves immersed in the chilly confines of the extraordinary and unique penguin habitat. Amare Restaurant Review at the Swan Reserve

The newest hotel around Disney’s Boardwalk area is the Swan Reserve, which opened 3rd November 2021. This 14-story hotel with 349 rooms, nestles amongst the Swan and Dolphin hotels, right next to Disney’s Fantasia golf course. 

Breaking away from the now legendary theming of the Swan and Dolphin, with their impressively large feature-creatures, the Swan Reserve has a more modernist look and feel. This minimalist and elegant style continues into the hotel’s flagship restaurant called ‘Amare’, which means ‘to love’. Will we love this new restaurant?

Disney’s ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’ Opening Date Announced

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure which replaces Splash Mountain in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World and is inspired by Disney’s ‘The Princess and the Frog’ movie will open to the public starting 28 June 2024.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure invites guests to join beloved characters Princess Tiana, Mama Odie, Louis, and all-new friends on a thrilling adventure, all set against the music and excitement of a New Orleans celebration. This new attraction will feature dozens of Audio-Animatronics figures, a foot-tapping soundtrack, and a celebration where everyone’s welcome.

Before the official opening date guests can expect a number of soft openings and media previews


2024 Disney’s ‘Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party’ (MNSSHP) Dates

Eagerly awaited by fans, Disney has just released the dates for their Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which is held at the Magic Kingdom Starting 9th August through to 31st October 2024.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an annual Halloween celebration at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park and is held on select nights (listed below). Entrance to the party requires purchase of a MNSSHP ticket and is not included with normal park admission.

The party takes over the entire park after it is closed to non-ticketed guests. The party hours are 7pm to 12am, however party guests can gain entry to the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm.

MNSSHP showcases nighttime Halloween fun and entertainment for families in a very Disney way, the fun of Halloween without it being scary. Unlike the rest of the year Disney allows guests to dress as their favourite characters during the party, See FAQ HERE for dress code

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers Disney halloween character greetings, special halloween inspired shows and fireworks, a special “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade which features characters dressed in their Halloween finery and the special fireworks show lights up the skies with the voices of the Ghost Host and various Disney villains.

There are also lots of trick-or-treat stations located throughout the park where you can fill your bags with free delicious Halloween candy treats.

  • August – 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30
  • September – 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29
  • October – 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can purchase these special event tickets early beginning May 8, 2024! All other Guests may purchase tickets beginning May 15, 2024.

Event tickets are $119 to $199 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date).

Discounts
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party—valid only for event nights in August and September.

Universal Reveal Details About Super Nintendo World At Universal Epic Universe

Universal Epic Universe, Universal’s fourth theme park in Orlando, is set to open in 2025 and will consist of five different unique worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe (based on the classic Universal Monsters), How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.

Guests will enter Super Nintendo World through a portal from Celestial Park and take an escalator up into the land. You’ll first step into Super Mario Land and you’ll want to look at everything, in every direction, all at once. Everything in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD feels alive — because so much of it is constantly in motion. You’ll pop into the land outside of Peach’s Castle.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
Wind your way through Bowser’s Castle and join Team Mario on the racetrack to defeat Team Bowser in this interactive ride. Just like in the Mario Kart games, you’ll collect coins and throw shells, all while driving through courses underwater and in the clouds. The attraction employs special goggles— just look at your target, press the button on the steering to toss a shell.
