Disney+ Premiers ‘Magic Of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’, A Behind The Scenes Documentary Of Disney’s Theme Park

A new documentary series going behind the scenes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and EPCOT is set to show on Disney+ starting 25th September.

Using cutting-edge technology, such as custom-built GoPro enclosures, 18-foot cranes and underwater camera systems to highlight the magic found in every corner of the kingdom. “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” from National Geographic, will give viewers an all-access pass behind the scenes of two of Disney’s famous parks, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and EPCOT’s The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

The eight part series was filmed over a five month period and introduces viewers to a magnificent array of 300 species and 5,000-plus animals that have their own unique personalities and family dynamics. Continue reading →

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Welcomes A Baby Mandrill

Disney has not only been welcoming guests back to their theme parks, they have also been welcoming a new colourful addition to the animal family at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Disney Permanently Closes A Nighttime Show and Two Attractions at Walt Disney World

Guests visiting Walt Disney Wold will have less attractions to enjoy from today as Disney permanently close two attractions and a nighttime show.

It is reported that Disney have confirmed in a memo to Cast Members the permanent closure of ‘Rivers Of Light’ and ‘Primeval Whirl’ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and also ‘Stitch’s Great Escape’ at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Meet Phoenix The Newest Zebra Foal To Be Born At Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The animal care team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomed a new female Hartmann’s mountain zebra foal to their herd. The foal, born on 6 May 2020 made her first appearance on the resort’s Sunset Savanna.

The name Phoenix was chosen by our team as a symbol of strength and renewal. Phoenix was born to mom Peebles, and she’s already quite active and enjoying bonding time with her mother. This is the second Hartmann’s foal born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge this year. Continue reading →

Secrets of Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney has released a video celebrating the third anniversary of Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Two of the lead creative partners responsible for developing the land: Joe Rohde, portfolio creative executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, and Jon Landau, producer of “Avatar” and its sequels. These two visionaries assembled a team of thousands to turn a wondrous cinematic digital world into a complete physical environment that inspires and thrills.

Pandora: The World of Avatar is the newest themed land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. The land is inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar film and is set a generation after the events in the Avatar film.
