SeaWorld Orlando Reopening 11 June

SeaWorld Orlando will reopen to visitors on 11 June after closing it’s gates due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

SeaWorld outlined its reopening plans to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force where it received approval from the Mayor and final approval from the governor of Florida.

The plans outline new and enhanced health and safety measures following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control.

Discovery Cove Tickets

Discovery Cove has only a limited number (1300 at present) of packages available for each day. Early booking is highly recommended – particularly for larger groups and for popular days during school holiday and other peak times.

Enjoy a fabulous day to remember at Discovery Cove. What’s not to like, when you get to spend the day on white sandy beaches and tropical lagoons, then go swimming in the lazy river that winds itself around the resort.

There’s plenty to keep you occupied here, you can snorkel amongst the fish and rays, get up close with the animal encounters where you can also hand feed the beautiful tropical birds. All this is included in the package, as well as unlimited food and drinks.

For the ultimate experience add a swim with the dolphins to your day out, something you’ll never forget!

For those who would like to add a bit of luxury and privacy to the experience, why not hire a Cabana for the day. There’s a choice of 3 packages to choose from, a Private Cabana, Elite Cabana and a VIP Cabana. The Cabanas can accommodate between 6 to 8 guests.

Why not add a SeaVenture Experience to your day. This innovative experience, allows you to don a dive helmet and take an underwater walking tour where from the reef floor you’ll come eye-to-eye with sharks through the 8ft tall, 21-foot long panoramic window. On the 45 minute journey you’ll also encounter rays, schools of fish and unique animals.

Non-swim version of the adventure pass and Ultimate adventure tickets are available.
It includes everything except the dolphin swim. You may book any number of Non-Dolphin Swim Tickets provided at least one Dolphin Swim Ticket has been purchased with most brokers.
Non-swim only bookings can be done directly with Discovery Cove.

If you visit any of the other Seaworld parks before your day at Discovery Cove, take your voucher and some photo ID for the main booker to guest services at each park where you will be given tickets for that park. Some parks may give day tickets only for that day, others may give tickets which are valid for longer.

Once you have been to Discovery Cove, your laminated photo pass will provide entry to any of the parks within the 14 day period.

Seaworld, Aquatica & Busch Gardens Tickets

SeaWorld Orlando is the world’s premier marine mammal adventure park. Aquatica

Aquatica is a one-of-a-kind waterpark from SeaWorld, which immerses guests in the playfulness of the sea and boasts some of the world’s most unique water rides and animal encounters. Aquatica’s awesome signature ride – Dolphin Plunge –shoots riders through a spectacular Commerson dolphin habitat. May 2014 saw the opening of Ihu’s Breakaway Falls, the parks new thrill-seeking experience that see’s riders plummet vertically 80ft down slides from ‘Breakaway Boxes’.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the ultimate adventure park for families and thrill-seekers alike and 2014 sees the opening of ‘Falcon’s Fury’, the tallest free standing drop tower in North America. Riders are slowly lifted to a height of 335ft, are tilted forward 90 degrees in their seats and are then dropped, plummeting to the ground at a speed of 60mph!
There’s also the high speed attraction, Cheetah Hunt, guests will immerse themselves into the world of the cheetah, chasing its tail at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour on a new multiple-launch coaster, Cheetah Hunt*. This record breaking 3 ½ minute sprint over three quarters of a mile takes riders through an African inspired landscape – mimicking the speed, power and agility of this beautiful cat with super fast twists, turns and three accelerations – before plunging 37 metres into the abyss. Riders and none riders alike can marvel at the cheetahs’ awesome speed just a whisker away at Cheetah Run, where trainers will carry out daily sprints with these graceful and agile animals.

The theatrical show Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, follows on from the highly popular KaTonga production which saw a six year run in the Moroccan Palace, Busch Gardens Tampa is thrilled to welcome the critically celebrated Broadway entertainment group, Cirque Dreams, who will undoubtedly mesmerize and astound visitors. Encompassing groundbreaking contortion and acrobatics, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy will bring nature to life with soaring butterfly aerialists, spine-bending lizards, acrobatic monkeys and hopping frog jugglers combined with fantasy music and spectacular costumes.
