The new ‘Lightning Lane Multi Pass’ and ‘Lightning Lane Single Pass’ allows guests to pay an additional fee to skip some of the lines at various attractions within Disney’s theme parks. If you are familiar with the old FastPass+ system then Multi Pass works in a very similar way except now it is no longer free.

1. Onsite guests can purchase and make their Lightning Lane selections 7 days in advance and offsite guests can purchase and make their Lightning Lane selections 3 days in advance.

2. Purchase of Multi Pass and Lightning Lanes are made using Disney’s App (My Disney Experience)

3. Currently you need to be within the U.S.A or Canada to purchase and make Multi Pass experiences.

4. You can choose up to 3 attractions to experience at select times

5. You can choose 1 selection from ‘Tier One’ and 2 selections from ‘Tier Two’, see below for the Tier attractions

6. You can choose your Multi Pass experiences with return times before you actually pay.

7. You can only hold a maximum of 3 experiences, you can make an additional selection once you have used your first experience.

8. If one of your selected experiences expires before you enter the park you will not be able to make additional selection until you have entered the park.

9. Parades, Fireworks and Character Meet and Greets are currently not available as Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections.

10. If you have your first Multi Pass experience in a park that is cheaper, once you have checked in to that park and used your first Multi Pass experience you can then select Multi Pass experiences for a different park, providing you have park hopping on your ticket. You will not be charged extra if the other park’s multi pass is more expensive. So for example on launch day Multi Pass at Animal Kingdom was $18 and Magic Kingdom was $29. If you purchased Multi Pass for Animal Kingdom at $18 used your first Multi Pass experience in Animal Kingdom then selected Multi Pass experiences for Magic Kingdom, there is no extra charge.
