Annual Disney Theme Park Attendance Report

The annual attendance report from the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has been released which show attendance figures for Theme Parks, Water Parks  and Museums around the world.

Looking at the Disney Parks, the data shows that for 2019 there hasn’t been much change in attendance over the previous year. Disneyland California stays the same as does Walt Disney World’s EPCOT. Magic Kingdom sees a 0.5% increase, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a 1% increase and Disney Hollywood Studios manages a 2% increase.

Both WDW Water Parks and Disneyland Paris all show a 1% decrease in attendance over previous year.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has the largest increase of all the Disney parks showing a 2% increase. This is undoubtedly due to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in August 2019.

    • Magic Kingdom – 20,963,000 (+0.5%)
    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom – 13,888,000 (+1%)
    • EPCOT – 12,444,000 (0%)
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios – 11,483,000 (+2%)
    • Typhoon Lagoon – 2,248,000 (-1%)
    • Blizzard Beach – 1,983,000 (-1%)

2019 Attendance figures for Disneyland

    • Disneyland Park – 18,666,000 (0%)
    • Disneyland California Adventure Park 9,861,000 (0%)

2019 Attendance figures for Disneyland Paris

    • Disneyland Paris – 9,745,000 (-1%)

The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World still tops the worldwide charts for attendance with 20,963,000 visitors in 2019 compared to 20,859,000 in 2018.
