Meet Phoenix The Newest Zebra Foal To Be Born At Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The animal care team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomed a new female Hartmann’s mountain zebra foal to their herd. The foal, born on 6 May 2020 made her first appearance on the resort’s Sunset Savanna.

The name Phoenix was chosen by our team as a symbol of strength and renewal. Phoenix was born to mom Peebles, and she’s already quite active and enjoying bonding time with her mother. This is the second Hartmann’s foal born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge this year. Continue reading


Oga’s Cantina Has Been Removed From The List Of Attractions That Will Be Available When Disney’s Hollywood Studios Reopens

Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Galaxy’s Edge area of the park will not be available when the theme park reopens on 15 July.

Oga’s Cantina was on the original list of venues and attractions that would be available when the theme park reopens. However this now seems to have been changed.

The Cantina is a small space with limited capacity, so it’s not really a surprise that this attraction will not be available with the parks reopening. We don’t know if the change has come about due to physical distancing requirements or if it has anything to do with the current ban on alcohol being served on premises in Florida. Other establishments such as Docking Bay 7, Ronto Roasters and the Milk Stand are still scheduled to be open. Continue reading


2021 Tickets For Walt Disney World Now on Sale

Stand alone tickets on the US Walt Disney World website are now available to purchase. Standard theme park tickets start from $52 per day if purchasing 10 days.

Disney Park Pass Reservations Now Open For Those Guests With Valid Walt Disney World Tickets.

The new Disney Park Pass Reservation system has been opening in phases, starting with hotel guests on 22 June, then Passholders on 26 June and today 28 June it is open to those with a Walt Disney World ticket.

As from today the Disney Park Pass system will open to all existing Walt Disney World ticket holders.

The new Disney Park Pass system requires that guests make a reservation before visiting a Walt Disney World theme park. Guests choose a date and then can either pick Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom or EPCOT.

Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park will begin a phased reopening on 11 July, with Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopening on 15 July.

Florida Suspends Alcohol Consumption On Premises as Covid-19 New Cases Spike

In order to help prevent further Covid-19 cases, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation announced that with immediate effect, the consumption of alcohol on site is prohibited at bars across Florida.

This announcement comes as Florida records nearly 9000 new cases of Covid-19. Florida was allowing bars to operate with 50% capacity from 3rd June.
